Teachers get the chance to have hands-on classroom experiences in the rewarding field of early childhood education. They take responsibility for ensuring children’s safety indoors and outdoors and provide a loving, safe and nurturing environment. They guide children to positive interactions and get the chance to supervise and guide activities. These teachers help coordinate, plan and carry out the daily program goals in line with the philosophy and goals of Kaleidoscope Kids School. They also keep classroom supplies, daily records, and child information, organized and stocked. They’ll get the chance to implement curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child, while using developmentally appropriate teaching methods. We have fun adapting teaching styles as needed for each child (and following the CTELDS curriculum standards.) Part of why we love what we do is also ensuring that Kaleidoscope Kids is providing a safe and nurturing environment that enhances self-image, encourages independence and respects the individuality and uniqueness of each child across all developmental domains. If this sounds like something you’d love, apply now!
